Print & Register:  Golf Brochure 2019
We are pleased to announce that the Ebenezer Golf Benefit will be held at Cedar Point Country Club again this year. The event will take place on Monday, September 23, 2019 with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
suffolk golf tournamentCedar Point is an immaculately maintained, private Country Club located at the confluence of the Nansemond and James Rivers in North Suffolk, and was the site of the 2009 Virginia State Amateur championship. With its fast and true greens, beautiful landscaping, well-groomed fairways and bunkers, Cedar Point presents an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all levels. This is a great opportunity to play this beautiful golf course, which is otherwise not open to the public!
Proceeds benefit community-wide events like our popular July 4th festivities and sports programs for youth. We are a principal sponsor of an annual Youth mission trip in which our youth, along with adult supervision, travel to economically depressed areas to repair needy families’ homes. We also contribute labor and supplies to Rise against Hunger, a meal packaging program where volunteers package dehydrated, high protein meals that are used in crisis situations and in feeding programs for schools and orphanages in developing countries around the world. Other benefitting organizations have included the Boy Scouts, community food ministries helping to alleviate hunger, and Hope & Happiness, a group that coordinates various activities for youth and adults with special needs.
